In Your Honour

Fusion: A Collaboration Between UPFUSION and Viennese Cinnamon

The first time I encountered Viennese Cinnamon was during one of my most memorable jam sessions. I had set up a temporary studio in a crystal cave deep in the Himalayas, far away from the usual distractions. As I was experimenting with some offbeat scales and melodies on my electric guitar, I noticed an unusual audience forming—penguins, of all creatures, seemed to be grooving to the sound.

Just when I thought things couldn’t get more surreal, a figure emerged from the blizzard outside. The man looked like he had been through a lot, and as he stumbled in, the penguins parted to let him through. After catching his breath, he introduced himself as Viennese Cinnamon. With a story as wild as mine, we instantly hit it off.

One week later, after many cups of tea and coffee, and several mind-bending improvisations later, we're proud to present to you our first track together: Fusion.

This track is a true blend of our styles, capturing the energy of our spontaneous meeting and the unique vibes of that crystal cave.

Jamming and composing for over 20 years, driven by a passion for jazz, electronica, and expressive guitar playing. My mission is to create unique music that stirs emotions and resonates deeply, brought to life with expertise and heart in my home studio.

I play a variety of guitars and the Seaboard, which uses MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression). This lets me emulate all the instruments I need: drums, pads, organ, harp, violin, saxophone, flute, double bass.

My music often leans toward the experimental, combining improvisation, exploration of new sounds, and shaping the sound in Logic Pro.

Collaborating with others, making great friends along the way, having fun jamming, and continually evolving as a musician are all important to me.
