This interlude is for the Foundation soundtrack album. I'm a bit obsessed with the very small (subatomic) and the very big (the universe) and time (the great yawning vastness of it); not to mention how it all started (the big bang) and how it might end. Doesn't our galaxy look like soap froth spiralling in a basin before it disappears down the plug hole?

This is my music for PIano Day 2024: simple music that comes straight from my soul, crosses the skies, flies over the mountains and glides over the wide grassy plains... and screams peace and serenity!

I think of an old 1940's b/w movie, maybe Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest, starring Cary Grant and Eve Marie Saint, music by Bernard Herrmann,  a master of this genre!  Rewrite: They meet at an isolated roof top cafe under the moonlight and sit outside listening to romantic love songs from the lounge... staring in each other's eyes under the moonlit sky.  Arm in arm, they walk slowing off the terrace of the cafe, and a helicopter appears, randomly shooting with machine guns at the couple.  They take cover under the terrace.... To be continued. I believe what the world needs is more songs about love for all living things and the earthly treasures around us. The power of love is magical, mysterious, and miraculous!  And, it is essential to our survival like water and the air we breathe.  I believe that through the universal language of music, love can heal, bring joy, and create an invisible chain that pulls all of us together, not apart.  I vow to write only songs about love in 2024.  Will you join me?

A Little About Me...
I compose music on the piano. My inspiration comes from my dreams and my life experiences and is strongly influenced by my years of classical training. I am starting to get to know the Soundcloud community and never thought anyone would listen.  I love every genre of music, and the talent and creativity are mindblowing! I started composing later in life after many years of teaching.  Music, for me, must capture the imagination and emotions. When I play or listen, I want to feel something that brings joy or meaning in the moment. I am very grateful to all my listeners and the gift of music in my life!
