...she reached up  with tears in her eyes  in the darkest  hour of her life  'I can't do it on ,my own  but You can  do it through me  You and only You  can pull me  out of this quagmire  My eyes seek out You  only You  to re- light  to re-ignite   my  inner fire'   ....and the second she  let it all go  and realized  it wasn't her battle to fight  anymore  she began to feel deep inside  like a flash of light  her path becoming clear  to her  her breath song  encouraging everyone  to sing along  with her     ....sweet helplessness  a taste of bliss  a place of righteousness  a space of letting go  fully knowing  it has nothing  to do with her  anymore

SWEET HELPLESSNESS   ...she did all that she could  she tried everything she knew  she said what they told her to say  but nothing budged  the life-force  left her spirit  even the rhythmic  song of breathing  gave her no respite  as she wandered off  into the hopeless night   ...helplessness  alone  and no where  else to go  rock bottom  nowhere to go  but up   ...she had no choice  but to look to The One  who sees  from one  end of reality  to the other

and if they are open to the voice deep inside then--in the corner of their eyes they can spot a distant light a feeling a believe-ing an invitation to come and see a new way to see a new possibility a letting go a letting G-d a letting things to just be a trust that must be better than the way things have been     so they get back on their feet again and find that a new door opens for them again and they dare to walk on in

and their stories are all the same the disappearing flame the chasing game the subsequent pain       they all swore that never again would they be trapped in a place that spins out of control with no way to get back home all alone and no one can know the void inside and so they hide away till the day turns to night and the night turns to day they hide away

IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT     in the still of the night you can hear the silent cries of the lovers who got lost along the way and they all sit at home defeated and alone and there ain't nothing that anyone can say     and they can't play this waiting game too much longer they can't even wait for one more day     and like a saint who fell from grace and can't seem to find their holy place they've been shot up and they can't seem to find their way

ALLOW YOURSELF TO SPEAK WITH ABANDON ***the heart is an endless wellspring that has so little opportunity to truly be expressed…. it's song is  so constricted  and restricted,  in so many  many ways,  so much of the time….  **let love flow,  love begets love… love is forever…. love is the most beautiful  and healing of all elements  ***…shoot from the hip,  let the winds  take your fate where they will  **allow yourself to speak  with intoxication  and semi—abandon…..  ****don't be afraid  to be rejected,  …..you have nothing to lose  and everything to gain….  *****that, I believe, is the code  and language of love….. ‘it is better to have loved  and lost  than not  to have loved at all’…
