2023 and 2024 saw Softi aka @jazz_brown popping up everywhere - and well deserved. The quickly emerging London based dj & producer has a knack for bubbling, dubby, smooth & hypnotic groove. As the name suggests, always presented in a soft but effective manner.

A mix reminiscent of the change of seasons, icy breaks shrouded in warm dubs.. moody sounds & summer nostalgia waft through this easy-flowing, chuggy, cosy mix from the @cozi-716789961 boss herself.

"Piano Mix" by, in mine and many local's opinions, one of Australia's best djs, @moopie...

Moopie has been around in the scene as long as I've been clubbing (even longer). I have very vivid memories of watching him dj at the young age of 18/19 in support of DJ Nobu at the iconic Mercat (rip).. and again at Inner Varnika in 2018 (one of the most memorable dance floor experiences I can remember to date)..  a selector who can do it all.. from electro, to non-club, to experimental and d&b, to minimal, to techno, to tech house... 

Here, the multifaceted, technically wizard-like DJ, NTS show host, and curator of the incredible @acolourfulstorm label, showcases his non-electronic, ambient leanings with a stunning mix filled with rare "piano" studded oddities... no one does it better

A rare live recording from the multitalented musician, Alicia's set captures a dynamic and thoughtful soul at play, mapping cleverly between moments of shimmering suspension and blanketing bassweight, accumulating pressure with deliberate, veteran intensity. Solid ground, in the spirit of the captured evening, from which to leap into the night beyond.

Happy new year & gloomy Jan :) with that said we welcome our favorite London based duo, inner zone @inner_zone (Nic & Rupes)for mix 18! 
These two are no strangers to the underground music scene in the UK & beyond. Co founding one of London's most sought out parties & day festivals, Transmissions. Which has organically produced a warm, sophisticated & eclectic energy to our scenes atmosphere, curating promising linup's and some of the best sets we've witnessed. They exceed everything you want from a musical duo with continuous bookings at festival's like Dimensions, Love International and music released on labels such as Space lab & Holding Hands. Were super excited to have them contribute this slow-paced, effortlessly smooth mix created for the deeper, celestial mind...

Cozi questions ...

1.⁠ ⁠How and why did you get into producing / dj’ing?
We started going out in the late 90’s and got hooked on a combination of amazing clubs, killer tunes and even better gary's so buying decks and spinning seemed like a no brainer. Records were cheap, record shops were everywhere. Good times :) 

2.⁠ ⁠Who, What/where was your most coziest gig you've been to or experienced and why?
We played a 4hr ambient set at Nachtdigital festival which was super cozi - we went to the depths whilst everyone was laying around on mattresses and sofas, cuddling in blankets under the stars. It was super special. 

3.⁠ ⁠Do you consider yourself an introvert or extrovert in the scene?
Introverts I guess? There’s enough people making a lot of noise out there, we kind of tick along. We’re happy with our bit :)  

4.⁠ ⁠If you had to choose 1 track to vibe out too forever, what would it be?
Jai-en : Bubble Gum. It’s a stone cold banger and comes to every gig with us. If you see one, buy it! 

5.⁠ ⁠What is your routine when preparing for a gig / production/writing session? Do you have any special remedies/ mental/physical prep/ places to go to? :)
Rupes: I do pretty meticulous preparation, taking vinyl out of sleeves and into plastic cases to protect them and to pack more into the bag. I like a few beers before a gig to settle the nerves. 
Nic: I chaotically throw records around the living room in a panic before the gig and hope for the best. Our friend Adam said watching me prepare for a gig actually gave him anxiety and he had to leave the room. I try and stay sober, I can’t mix after two beers.
