This recording documents a “particularly packed and sweaty one” in September 2018, when local selector Ribeka joined club mainstay Call Super for an intimate rinse out at Glasgow's La Cheetah. Ribeka warms up for the first 90 minutes before Call Super takes over to close.

@delay-grounds could almost be seen to embody the plethora of electronic creativity beaming out of Bristol right now. Ahead of his devastatingly good Lapsus record landing, he’s provided a mix to further demonstrate just how fervent the forever cross-pollinating scene there is at this moment in time. Amongst material from fellow UK upstarts like Metrist, Will Lister and Boulderhead, there’s classics in the form of James Holden’s 10101 and early cuts from Randomer on LIES. There’s futurist club gear in plentiful supply from Karima F and Rhyw, plus a couple of tracks from Delay Ground’s new record for good measure.

Underworld dreams with Newworldaquarium 

It was seven or eight years since Newworldaquarium last appeared in Berlin, playing Berghain or Panorama or something like that. In the grace of the artist's movements over the last years however, NWAQ has swayed from house music to something more 'life listening' - with his Wake 'n' Bake show on Mutant Radio a testament to his tastes and styles these days.

Bugged out at the fact that it had been so long since he last visited town, and with such a sound at his finger tips these days, a place in Absurd Lustre was an invite we had been trying to post for a long time. A man who loves his German beers as much as his lush, serene and calming ambient, the legendary Newworldaqaurium set can be described as some kind of technicolour  dream.
