This is a truly beautiful track. I could quite easily fall asleep into a deep slumber listening to it! You have an amazing talent :)

You already described it accurately, it's a soothing improvisation. Nice one, but hmm... I expected more, yet I cannot explain what it really lacks. And ending was executed in a bit rush manner.

A serene and timeless mood! Musings, some may call where I know things. What often gets my attention is the intervals flowing in and out of chords. This easily takes me back to my childhood (growing up next to a resort/night club) I could even hear the music coming from the club as I went to sleep!

AND who has seen the moon, who has not seen
Her rise from out the chamber of the deep,
Flushed and grand and naked, as from the chamber
Of finished bridegroom, seen her rise and throw
Confession of delight upon the wave,
Littering the waves with her own superscription
Of bliss, till all her lambent beauty shakes towards us
Spread out and known at last, and we are sure
That beauty is a thing beyond the grave,
That perfect, bright experience never falls
To nothingness, and time will dim the moon
Sooner than our full consummation here
In this odd life will tarnish or pass away.

This piece started with the painting "Moonrise" I did something like a year ago. One day I read that Dave Greening is using pictures as source for inspiration for his wonderful improvisations. I wanted to that too, and this picture was hanging on the wall in front of me. I liked what I was playing as it had a soothing and relaxing effect on me to play this. Finally I recorded this improvisation for a good friend as a little gift. Afterwards I googled "moonrise and poem" and found that beautiful poem by D.H. Lawrence which by accident seems to be a perfect fit. 

Finally today I thought "maybe a few others might also like this, even though it is very quiet" ... and decided to share it. If you find it too quiet it might serve as a lullaby ;-)
