You're like an idea machine. This has an amazing feel. I can't even put my finger on it. I think it's the processing and gritty quality over the melodic content, but whatever it is, it's really amaazing.

I love that maximalist noise sound you carry, bit-crushed and all.. it has such a retro feel and yet it's immortal. the organ ads to it beautifully. Cool stuff.

Drift Away

Sometimes you just dispense with the niceties and make a glorious noise. Such is the case with Laxá's "Better Angels". 

Recorded in a derelict swimming pool off Sloat, the sonics were perfect. Swirling guitars, distant drums and distorted keyboards  captured the dereliction. The crumbling graffitied concrete walls echoed to the sound of a band both of, and not of, their time. The low buzz throughout the track is the sound of sampled traffic savagely distorted.

As darkness fell, a few curious passers by stopped to listen, witnesses to a singular happening in place and time.
